Week's Best #7: Forevermore

Hello Pretties,

Sorry I skipped my week's best last week. My days were occupied of watching shows on TFC, yep finally we subscribed na hihihi. Did I tell you that sometimes I don't get influenced with what's new and uso, kaya I am one of the few who doesn't watch Aldub hehehe, (sorry to the fans). Back on topic, nung time na usong uso ang Forevermore ng LizQuen di ko talaga pinanood hehehe, then when my friend was here she opened their tfc, and there I can watch the past teleseryes, kaya naenganyo ako magsubscribe. Kaya our nights were filled with forevermore na hihihi. 

A tour to bookstore will always be fun especially when I go out with something to read. This book is the first book of the author's 4 Neapolitan Novels. I am still in a halfway of the book and hopefully I can finish it this week. I am planning to get the 2nd book next week. 

One of my most priceless wealth are true friends who always take time to show their love and care to us. I am truly happy thinking that we are always in their thoughts and hearts eventhough we are miles apart. These are very early christmas gifts we received. Thank you Jaz and Vice.

hubby got a basketball jersey too, not in the picture kasi sinusukat nya agad. Our christmas will be filled with a great aroma of my favorite coffee from Singapore. Missing the old days.

happy weekend!!! How are you doing?

I've been neglecting this blog for a while, good news is tapos ko na panoodin ang Season 8 ng 24,, I am so excited because they will open a new Season and will start on Monday,, kaso wala pa kaming TV wahehehe,, nung Tuesday my husband asked me to go out to look for a good TV, kaso ang mahal over budget para sa amin, ako kasi I don't like to buy unless talagang may naipon ako for that, natetempt na ako gamitin yung sa 52 day challenge ko kaso meron talaga akong pinaglalaanan nun, isang advantage ng single income ***takot gumastos*** tapos may ugali din ako na ayaw ko nung "ok cge, ok na yan" gusto ko yung gusto ko talaga tutal isang beses lang bibili nun pangmatagalan na, pwede kaming bumili ng TV kaso hindi yung gusto ko talaga kaya magintay na lang ako until maipon ko yung pangdagdag. Totally different talaga yung buhay ko dito kesa nung sa Singapore, doon 55" ang tv namin, ngayon talagang wala, e gusto ko sana same size din sana (maarte lang ako), since we are a little broken hearted kasi wala kaming naiuwing TV, we ended in a cinema, we watched Spiderman 2 (naiyak ako nung namatay si Gwen Stacy ang ganda pa naman nya, dapat mas maganda yung gaganap na Mary Jane), sabi ko kay Mark "gusto natin malaki TV  o ayan ang laki" hehehe.

Finally, I have this book na, been looking for this kahit nung nasa Singapore pa ako kaso palaging out of stock, medyo tamad kasi akong bumisita sa bookstore dito kasi konti lang english na nakikita ko, buti na maaga kami sa airport going back here from Oslo kaya nakabili ako. I will start to read this next week, full packed kasi ang weekend namin =)

and super excited for the movie

Ang dami ko pang kailangan sa bahay (bukod sa TV hahaha) mga small items lang naman, kaya di pa ako makapag decorate ng house, grateful for good friends around us, got a gift from a friend here para daw sa house kasi kakalipat lang namin.

 Beautiful orchids. Yahoo may kasama na akong living things dito sa loob ng bahay pag wala si hubby hihihi!!! Di ba di ba ang ganda ganda ng mga bulaklak =) nakakaganda ng araw =)

And for my finale... eto ang sarap sarap nito pramis yan walang echos... kahapon kasi may training sina hubby kaya after magbike diretso sila dito sa bahay and I prepared seafood pasta yan dapat kaso wala akong gaanong makitang pusit dito kaya tuna and shrimp pasta na lang hihihi,,,

Heart of the Matter

Last Sunday, I received an iPad as my first christmas gift from hubby (feelingera lang na may kasunod pa), super enjoy ko yung gift nya, I was really thinking of getting one for myself this christmas kasi mahilig talaga akong magbasa kahit ano kaya a bigger screen is really perfect for me. My husband was choosing between a camera and an iPad at nanalo si iPad, buti na lang kasi happy talaga ako, now I am reading Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin at super naiinis ako kay Valerie at Nick, and I really feel for the wife, biruin mo a harmless dinner can lead into something deeper, kakapraning tuloy hahaha.. (hon basta ako "Im pretty"(ala carmina lang), ikaw na ang bahala kung ipagpapalit mo pa ako hahaha) nag warning? hahaha,,, Oh well sabi nga sa book nung mother ni Tessa, one thing she learned in life was never say never, totoo nga naman di ba, kahit na gaano ako kasigurado ngayon that my husband won't cheat on me e di pa din natin masasabi, I am open that things might be turned around but at the same time I know how to trust and love the commitment of our marriage. I admire so much those women who gave up their career to become a SAHM (Stay At Home Moms) or SAHW (Stay at Home Wives) actually I wished before that my mom was staying at home preparing for everything we need but in my case I can't kahit pa my husband can provide for me, I am somehow takot na walang work, ewan ko maybe because I worked since I graduated from university and hindi ako nawawalang ng work ng more than a month, pinakamatagal na siguro ang 2 weeks or I can;t recall kung umabot nga ng 2 weeks basta mostly after I served the 1 month notice period, ilang days lang I will start with the new company, pero kahit pa I am takot, a part of me also hoping to just stay at home and be a better wife, yung I don't need to drag myself in the morning to work kahit ang sarap pang humiga hahaha.
Oh sya, itutuloy ko na basahin yung book.

Btw, tomorrow is my last working day for this year!!! Hoooray!!! Holiday mode na!!! Excited to see my husband! =)

Here's the synopsis:

I really really love this book, my all time favorite after I've read it in 2009. #TheWedding

My Bag Organizer

Hello ladies, how's the weekend so far? Mine is just ok, as usual "all by myself" ang peg ko. Minsan nakakapagod din pala mag isa noh, ang hirap mag isip ano gagawin ko to entertain myself wahahaha.

I went out for lunch, e wagas lakas ng ulan dito kanina, kaya nagpalipas oras na lang muna ako sa mall, nagtingin tingin sa mga tiangge, tapos nakita ko to, yihee kilig,

I always have a hard time looking for my ID, my celfon, saka yung maliit ko na wallet, kaya I really need this bag organizer, there are lots of design but I don't know why I chose this "map design", maybe because I love to travel, pass muna ako sa mga hearts hearts hehehe. By the way, this bag organizer is only 10sgd, oh di ba cute naman sya saka very useful naman.

Here are the things inside:

- my wallet - I seldom use this unless I need to carry some cash, kasi ok na ako dun sa maliit na black wallet na give away sa dating company ni Mark hehhee,

- guess pouch - this pouch is also a give away hehehe,, ang hilig ko sa freebies noh, kasi everytime bibili kami ng perfume nanghihingi ako ng mga free gifts, usually bag, saka mga miniature na perfumes din hehehe, I use this pouch as my make up kit, kashit wala naman akong gaanong make up, I only have lipstick, lipgloss, eyeliner and pressed powder, saka yung Johnsons baby powder na all time favorite ko.

-  Trussardi perfume- I received this perfume from a friend nung birthday ko,

- I have 3 cellphones, yung nokia is my roaming pang receive ko lang ito ng SMS from family and friends, the blackberry has a pre-paid sim na pangreply ko naman sa mga nagtetext sa akin sa roaming at pang call din sa pinas, and the third one is my IPhone this is my phone here in SG, pang Facebook, skype, viber, and also pang picture kaya di sya kasama sa photo na to kasi ito yung pangpicture ko wahehehe, (wala kasi akong camera ~belat to meh)

- black smallet wallet - ito yung gamit na gamit ko, andito na ung atm ko, naglalagay din ako ng small cash 10 or 20sgd baon ko sa ofis since wala din naman ako gastos kasi I bring food for lunch, andito din yung access card ko.

- my company ID - nasa stoplight pa lang ako hinahanap ko na yung ID ko sa bag, it also serve as access card din.

- my keys - actually kay Mark na susi to ng bahay namin, minsan ang tagal ko na sa may pinto kakahanap sa bag ko ng susi hahaha.

And before I forget, another yiheee,, atlas I already found the book I've been looking for for quite sometime,
The Carrie Diaries, I found it last wednesday night at Popular bookstore. super nice ng cover, and bought it for only 7.90sgd.

I just have to watch this,, im looking if it is included pa channel sa cable naming, kasi palagi nasa TFC yung TV ko, hehehe,,

I am a fan!!!

I was about to sleep luckily I didn't, instead I checked on one of my favorite blogs, yung kay Ms. Jenni, and kilig na naman ako when I saw that she replied on my tweet on her blog. I am a fan talaga of her, I admire her as a woman, hindi sya maarte and super nice ng character nya, down to earth at hindi intimidating.

BER Month Is Here!!!!

Let the countdown begins!!! Christmas is just a few months away, the happiest season of all time but before that September is special for me and my family because it's my birth month yey,,, I will be a year older on Friday =). It will just pass as an ordinary day, since it is a work day and hubby is not here.

Today, I went to the mall to just walk and treat my eyes (window shopping hahaha) and I promise myself not to buy anything until I saw this book, it's my birthday naman so I can say that it's my early birthday gift for myself hahaha!

I am lucky kasi last piece na ito sa Popular bookstore sa CCK, I love Sex and the City movies kaya I've been looking for Carrie Diaries na book, luckily I found this one.

Saan bookstore ko kaya ito mahahanap?

I had my lunch at McDonalds, I am now used of eating alone, hindi ko pa lang nagagawa ay manood ng sine mag isa showing pa naman ang Step up, I am waiting for a friend who just came back from vacation, she promised to go with me to watch this movie, alam kasi nya na I love dancing  chorva hehehe.

oh well, i have to go now,, time to chat with my hubby.  =)

Happy weekend everyone!!!

How will you spend your weekend?

Me and my husband just spent an hour in the pool, and just finished our lunch, we decided to stay and relax at home today and maybe end our night again swimming. We love swimming, aside from we get to bond with each other we can also get to exercise.
Weekend is also the time that I can read a lot, books, blogs and also I can able to visit N@W group page.

I knew Jenni Epperson's blog from Sharon Cuneta's website, Jenni is a good friend of KC, she featured Sharon's cooking in her blog, since then I am an avid reader from her multiply until she moved to her new blog. I like her kasi hindi sya maarte, her style is amazingly fabulous, I admire how she handles her time being a mom, wife, friend and a career woman. When she launched her book I told to myself I should have a copy of it, during my 8 days vacation in the Philippines,it was in my itinerary to go to National Bookstore to buy, and before I flew back to Singapore, as soon as the Mall opens I hurriedly go and buy.
Aside from I know I will learn a lot from it, I also want to support her being I am a fan, this is just my way of giving back her generosity. I love everything about the book, from cover to cover is fabglamtastic!!!

Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto

Today is really a happy Sunday for me!!!

Last month I sent an email to Ms. Samantha Sotto to ask her if there is a plan for her to visit Singapore, to my surprise she really replied to my email, being a fan I am so kilig when I received an email from her. 

When she confirmed the date through her facebook fan page I told my husband that I can't miss the opportunity to meet her and to give my support, as a Filipino I am really proud of her. 

She is very pretty and very nice to everyone. She even hugged me!!! 

Thank you so much Ms. Samantha Sotto for sharing your talent through your book. You are such an inspiration to everyone! I can't wait for your second book but for now I will start to flip the pages of your book Before Ever After.

The Wedding

Im currently reading this book, im done with the first few pages, had to stop to blog. hehehe.

I was at the bookstore looking for something to read when I saw this book of Nicholas Sparks, and bought it right away. My wedding preps is stagnant now funny but I still try to do things related to weddings, even if it's not about great ideas for the wedding day like centerpieces, decors, accessories, but this book will help me to have a happy LIFE with my hubby after the WEDDING.

Mark just got back from thailand and he's here for good na, by the way, we bought matching shirts or love shirts in thailand, post ko sya medyo tamad pa me picturan actually hindi ko pa nailalabas sa maleta ko, 2 week na me nakabalik hehehe,, im thinking of using it for our prenup shoot.
