Foodie: Cheesy Baked Salmon

I've been reading about Conti's on my facebook newsfeed and told myself that we will definitely visit it when we go home.
Luckily one of my n@wie sister shared a recipe of their Baked Salmon. Tired of prito and sinigang sa salmon, I tried it and we instantly loved it. Advantage ng di pa nakakakain ng Conti's I can't compare kung close enough sya sa lasa hehehe.

Ingredients

400 grams Salmon Fillet
Garlic
Lemon
Mayonnaise
Parmesan Cheese
Cheddar Cheese
Pepper
Salt

Marinate the salmon overnight with minced garlic, lemon and a dash of pepper and salt.
For the toppings, Mixed the minced garlic, mayo, parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese then set aside.
Remove the salmon from the marinade and pat it dry with kitchen towel.
Place it in the baking dish and spread the toppings evenly.
Pre-heat the oven , then bake it for 190 deg C for 20 minutes until it becomes slightly brown.
For the side dish, I just sauteed the carrots and corn in a butter.

Ideally, it is best served with mashed potatoes, but since pinoy tayo kanin kami. Rice pa more hehehe.

Happy New Year!!! :)

Hello mga friendships,

Sorry naman at di ako nakakapag blog ng napakatagal, hihiramin ko lang ang linya na madalas natin marinig....hinanap ko lang ang sarili ko... chos!

2014 was somehow a tough year for us, I felt a lot of rejection last year, and everything I hoped for was just very hard to attain. This year I didn't pray for that "thing", Just staying very positive that whatever trials or triumphs I can handle it very well just what I did last year or even better.

We celebrated Christmas and New Year very quietly in our home, we cooked food, watched movies at Netflix and that's all. But knowing that our family are happy and all healthy we are contented and happy too.
And because of the trials that we have won, we were happy to share our blessings in a very simple way. Last year, Mark's classmates has a project for their school, there's an on going feeding program and the class decided to donate things to be used in that program. Mark and I decided to give a simple noche buena package for the 31 students since it's Christmas for them to share with the family  on Christmas eve.
The joy on their faces really warms our hearts. Hopefully every year we can give more and share our blessings.

Nakakatuwa yung noche buena package, really appreciate yung help ng classmate ni hubby sa pagbili and pag arrange. Once again we felt the real joy, to make others happy. Ang gaan at ang saya lang talagang magpasaya ng iba.
