Bianca's 1st Month

My daughter just turned a month old yesterday. We had a simple celebration at home. My husband ordered an ube cake, it was actually my wish since during my preggy days I wasn't able yo eat too much sweets, as in tikim lang isang kutsara ganun wahehe, he also cooked pancit and then we took some photos of Bianca.

Look at my Bianca, she's so beautiful. (sa paningin ko hehehe)

I am really enjoying being a mom of this adorable little miss!
Thank you Lord for this beautiful blessing! 😘😘😘

My Journey to Motherhood (part 1)

Hello friendships!

Tulog si Bianca, I have some spare time to blog hehehe, mga panakaw na sandali hehehe. Kwento ko lang how God answered our prayers. Until now sobrang surreal pa sa amin ang lahat especially when we are looking to Bianca, parang wow may anak na kami, last year lang kami lang dalawa ni Mark ngayon may baby na 😊😊😊

I am very open about IVF, It was in the beginning of February when Mark injecting meds to my tummy.

I responded so well with the meds (Thank God) and then we flew from Oslo to Haugesund for egg retrieval.

our breakfast before we go to the hospital, I feel very excited, we prayed for a good numbers of eggs.

After the egg retrieval I nearly passed out but the nurses and doctors were very quick and transfered me immediately to recovery room.

Kahit medyo hilo, smile pa din, we got 10 eggs hooray (Praise God) 😊😊😊

We were praying na sana mag fertilize lahat, I was a bit nervous kasi natrauma ako sa last experience namin na walang nafertilize. We received a call the next day and we were schedule na for embryo transfer ng Monday (February 15). We didnt celebrate Valentines Day kasi I need to prepare myself para sa transfer and sobrang tagal ng oras gustong gusto ko ng mag Monday.

The transfer went smoothly and that same day we went back home, medyo naiinis ako kasi natatakot ako na baka di maging successful kasi magbabyahe ako pero pinagdasal na lang namin and we claim na andito na si baby sa tummy ko. We decided na magbedrest ako, it was not suggested by the doctors, they said pa nga na I can do mg normal routine wag lang yung mga mabibigat na task o exercise, but we chose to be extra careful wala naman mawawala e. I just have to say na sobrang saludo ako sa asawa ko (Hon I love you) He did everything to make me feel comfortable, kahit sobrang busy sa office, before he leaves for work he'll make sure that I have food for the whole day.

Then a day before of my schedule to test,  makulit ako kaya nagtest na ako ng February 26, and tadah...

First time ko to have a positive pregnancy test,,,sa wakas this is it! we were hugging each other while thanking the Lord.

And we had a series of tests pa the next days hehehe. We called the hospital and told them the result but they said that it was too early pa to confirm the pregnancy and we had to wait until 7th week, the time na magtest ako I was on my 4th week na daw, so eto na naman waiting time na naman, naging very extra careful pa kami hehehe very extra na talaga hahaha. Kaso our OB was on a holiday kaya 8th week na schedule ang ultrasound.

And finally 😍😍😍
I will never forget the face of my husband when we saw and heard the heartbeat of our baby, paglabas ng clinic nakita ko sya teary eyed at nakatingin sa langit.

It was a happy pregnancy!!! Super happy kasi ang daming nagmamahal sa amin ni Bianca, friends and family thank you so much sa support nyo. 😘😘😘

I will end muna here ha, mommy duty naman. Hahanap ulit ako ng time to post the part 2. 😊😊😊

Theme Of The Year: SUCCESS 2016

Hello Pretties,

The first month of the year is ending so soon, how's everything so far? Before 2015 ended, my group in FB was asking for a theme, everyone shared their  chosen theme and explain why they chose it, and there I came up with my own theme for this year... SUCCESS!!!
Why Success? 2014 and 2015 were not an easy year for us, so many heartbreaking moments and disappointments but the positive side of it is that we CONQUERED all the hardships and blessed that we are still standing strong with so much courage and stronger faith in God. Hubby and I were talking the other day and we looked back for what we encountered last year and we were amazed that we surpassed everything, how God miraculously showed us that He is with us in our journey. All praises to you Lord!

So why nga ba Success? I want to see many success stories in our lives from small to big things. One of those is the Success of adjusting my body clock, I am an early riser now, yehey. Since we came from our vacation I wake up at 5:45 am, make a simple breakfast and eat breakfast with hubby. So everyday I can say that my morning starts with a successful joy. I feel great that we have a few minutes to bond with each other before he go to work. I have to work on pa on how to be busy the whole day as I am preventing myself from taking a nap or sleeping para I can sleep early at night. You know that I am not the typical housewife, I am not a fan of organizing, decorating and cleaning hahaha, good thing is that my husband is ok with it. But I can assure you that there's always food on our table.
Other good things on setting a theme is that I became calmer and peaceful pramis nagchachat kami ng friend ko and I told her na mas mabait ako ngayon even my husband noticed it. I am in a better place now (literally? hehehe ) I am more focused on our time together, no more parties na di ko naman talaga nakahiligan since teenager ako, nagcollege sa manila (so more on free ako magparty if I want) nung mag work, at nung sa singapore days namin we have a small group lang talaga kami lang housemates hehehe. Me kasi I am contented to the few people in my life, meron dito sa online, (blogging and fb group), basta I found 1 or 2 treasured na people lang in every seasons of my life na for keeps talaga.
Basta very good talaga ako ngayong January, what I learned talaga is that starting my day happy makes the entire day happy. I am excited for more small and big daily success stories to unfold.

Kayo what is your theme for this year? Care to share and let me know how it changed your perspective daily.

hugs and kisses!

Amarante Champs Elysees Hotel

Hotel will really make or break your trip, we didn't make an itinerary for our trip. My husband is always the in charge in finding for our accomodation, alam naman na nya ang gusto ko. Syempre number 1 to consider is the budget from there we will choose the best option available. And super happy ako and will credit this to my husband for choosing Amarante Champs Elysees Hotel. It is very close to Arc d' Triomphe and to Champs Elysees Avenue, as in isang kanto lang. We were able to walked from our hotel to the christmas village and to the Eiffel Tower.

Let me tour you to our room.

The hotel is an old hotel you can see it from the carpet but I love it. The size of our room is ideal na for me kasi maliliit lang talaga ang room sa Paris unless 5 star hotel. Very clean and comfortable ng bed. I like the size of our bed too.

the entrance of the room, the cabinets were at the side.

 our bed

There's a smnall fridge at the bottom part of that cabinet.

The Bathroom.

Tapos isang kanto lang from Champs Elysees Avenue, winner talaga.

I will consider this hotel again on our next trip to Paris, yes hindi ako magsasawa to admire the beauty of this City. =)

For more info you can visit their website here

Note: This is not a paid post, and everything is based on our experience.

Christmas in Paris =)

Hello Pretties,

I know it is already 2016 now but let me share to you the glimpse of the last days of my 2015. We can't afford to go home for so many reasons so my husband asked me to decide on where we will be celebrating Christmas. I am thinking of Prague but the charm of Paris won. After we booked our tickets, we were scouting for an afforable hotel with a nice location, I suddenly checked my facebook and there was a news about the attacked in Paris from there I am willing to let go of our bookings because I was scared. My husband was ok with the idea to pursue our trip because he said the security is tighter and it is safer to go. It was only two weeks before our flight when we booked our hotel. It is very near to the Champs Elysees which made me love our hotel so much. The first time we went to Paris we stayed in Montmartre area and I realized that it is not really a good location for our trip since my aim for that trip was just walking around the city and feel the festive mood in Paris.

We left on the 24th of December, ang saya ng feeling ng field trip hehehe. Although we are missing our family in the Philippines the trip somehow lighten our longing for them. We arrived a few hours before noche buena (Paris time) and had a simple meal with suso hihihi.

That escargot is yummyness!!!

One of the highlights of our trip was to eat in KFC! ay naku sobrang happy ako, kaya if you want to make me happy KFC lang happy na ako, bonus na yung Jollibee sana magkaroon dito =)

There were times during that trip that I was being paranoid, umiiwas ako sa crowded places, I didn't actually enjoy the christmas village kasi di ako nag sstop ng matagal sa isang place. But still it was a indeed a happy Christmas trip.

It was the same amazing feeling of our first encounter with Eiffel back in 2013. Nakakahawa ata ang ganda ng Eiffel kaya we produced so many nice photos with it.

I am so happy that we still go on this trip, laking panghihinayang siguro kung hindi kami tumuloy. The city was full of christmas lights parang nasa Pinas na din kami. =)

It was indeed a Merry Christmas! I will never forget this wonderful experience. And to those who are planning to spend Christmas in Paris, you'll surely enjoy the experience.

Hugs and Kisses Everyone!!!
