    1. hi D! super agree ako kay mother, mas maigi magpakahealthy,, madali lang ito D, brown sugar, pineapple juice, konting soy sauce, paminta at minced garlic, marinate for 1 day or 2, tapos ifreezer then wait for a week. need ko kasi maging resourceful para makatikim ng pagkain pinoy kaya like ko mga homemade homemade. :)

    1. hello sis chasen, got this recipe from a fellow member sa isang group,

      Ingredients:
      ½ kilo boneless pork (pigue part) sliced to desired tickness
      1¼ cups pineapple juice
      1/3 cup soy sauce
      2 cups brown sugar
      ½ cup 7-up
      3 tbsp UFC Banana Ketchup*
      2 garlic cloves minced
      2 Tablespoons salt
      1 teaspoon black pepper
      Directions:
      1. Mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, 7-up, banana ketchup and garlic for the marinade. Adjust taste with salt and pepper as needed.
      2. Put pork slices and mix thoroughly. Marinade at least overnight. Keep well in the freezer for 1 week.
      3. To cook, boil the pork with the marinade and some water until tender with the sauce evaporating and starting to caramelize.
      4. Add a bit of oil towards the end to fry up the pork slices a bit.
      5. Serve with garlic rice and fried egg. Can also stand as a viand.
      *Skip the ketchup if you don’t have any banana ketchup at hand.

      ~~~~ I skipped the banana ketchup at sprite pero oks pa din, cguro bawasan ko lang yung soy sauce o salt kasi medyo maalat na sa panlasa ko.
