7 Days Living Without Rice

Happy weekend pretties! :)

How's your week? It was raining non stop since Monday that last till Thursday, it is a very good time to stay at home since I am on a diet, and a lot of teptations are waiting for me outside 😆

Most of the food I ate this week 😊

Yesterday my husband fetched me at home after his work to have a walk and breath outside. I ate a slice of bread before we go since I knew that I can't say no if my tummy starts to growl. 

We passed by to a store where they sell Pandora, he told me to choose from their charms and I choose the girl and boy charms which represent me and hubby.

He told me that this is my reward for giving up rice for 6 days. 

And before we go home I knew that my husband was very hungry and I heard this very often that you should not let the driver hungry, so I told him to order food for himself, talagang 1st time I didnt order for myself, kasi kami if I don't like the food I'll order kahit ano lang but now I want my food as much as possible to be homemade until I attain my goal. 

I'm just proud of myself for winning to this challenging moment hehehe 😄

Today is my 7th day without rice in my system, so happy ❤️

I had bread and milk for breakfast, my hubby cooked our lunch, seafood with veggies 

After eating our lunch we went to post office to send a mail and after we were done, my husband talked to the counter and showed his celphone, then suddenly the staff gave him a package. He immediately told me to open it 😊

I super love these charms, he inquired and ordered pa for these in different city, his effort of carefully choosing each of these made them more meaningful. 

The charms as per hubby:

The love charm is the Love between us 😍

The Home charm is another charm which symbolizes myself, he said "his home is where I am" -so sweet

The 2 bears represents our moymoy and giday bear cuddler version which we had before we got married.

It is not shown clearly in the pic but it is the heart in which when you open there's an engagement ring inside. I wear my engagement and wedding ring daily, they are part of me. 

The last charm is the ball with full of hearts sabi nya wala lang nagandahan lang sya hehehe. 

Apparently he was supposed to give these on my birthday but since the package has arrived today and we were already there he took it na din. 

I know na late reaction ko sa pandora and medyo naooa-yan ako sa sarili ko na nagpopost sa fb o instagram pagpasensyahan nyo na pero pag nasimulan pala you can't get enough. And minsan lang naman ako magpost and medyo iba nga mood ko today siguro dahil 1 week na lang birthday ko na kaya hyper ako hehehe. kaya sorry fb and instagram friends 😆

Food tripping on Saturday

Yesterday we checked the weather forecast for today and tomorrow and the weather says we should just relax at home. My husband's idea was to make a bbq, pancit for our lunch and we still have salted eggs and mango to add, what a perfect combinations!

Since I am in charge during weekdays for our food, it is his duty to feed me during weekends. Thank you Hon for preparing and cooking everything. off duty muna si giday hihihi. =)

Sorry for the mess at my back, the boxes just arrived last Tuesday, I already unloaded 4 of our luggages full of clothes, but for the boxes I will let my hubby to handle it, mga curtains, shoes at mga abubot kasi which I don't know na where to put. Kulang kami ng storage for our things, and wala pa kami plano to buy, pinagkasya ko lang sa maliit  na closet ang mga damit ko which is ok for now. I heard/watched can't remember about rules sa pag organize and pag declutter, i sort daw yung things/clothes kung happy ka pa o hindi happy, tapos ilet go ung unhappy things. Pano yun, may mga damit ako sobrang luma na, minsan hindi na maganda pero yung sentimental value yung naghohold back sa akin to let go, kaya ang dami ko damit di ko maidispose yung iba di ko na nasusuot.

The other day, my husband went home with my new phone, gift daw nya sa anniversary namin. I've been telling him na I don't need a new phone at kuntento na ako sa iphone 4 ko, kaya sobrang love ko ang apple kasi sobrang tibay hehehe, sabi ko pa since medyo malabo na ang mata ko sign of aging hehehe, irereserve ko na lang just in case masira yung ipad ko na sobrang araw araw ko gamit. Pero natuwa din ako sa phone, nagustuhan ko sya kasi mas malaki compared sa old phone ko, parang mini ipad na din for me tamang size sa mata ko. 

Proud ako kasi ito lang yung gadget na ako yung nag open, lagay ng sim, at nag install ng mga applications, hehehe, usually kasi trabaho yun ni Mark.

Love Month

Hello friendship!!!

I will slowly come back into blogging again and again hihihi,,, I was encouraged to continue my blog by a friend who's one of the best blessings we received last quarter of last year =)

And since it is love month... I want to spread and share love to everyone and some sweetness too...

We attended a wedding celebration on Valentines day, kaya libre and food pati live music hehehe,,, nakatipid dun ang asawa ko ah hihihi!
Tipid tip sa date: humanap ng okasyon na sakto sa araw nyo, vday, anniversary, monthsary etc, at siguraduhin na maiinvite kayo... pihado mabubusog ang date nyo, malamang sa coffee shop na lang ang last destination nyo hehehe,,,di ba tipid... chos hihihi.

Thank you Hon for being my valentine for 14 years... it is not easy to maintain and date the same person all those years but you chose me again and again... Love more, give more means more happiness. =) I love you my valentine forever.

Anniversary Gift =)

Happy Friday Friendships!!!

I am just happy and I want to document this here in my blog. Whenever I feel down it really helps to go back from my previous post and happy moments, pati date pag may nakalimutan ako binabalikan ko lang itong blog ko, even my recipe pag medyo matagal ko nang hindi naluluto dito pa din ako nagrerefer, I don't take notes kasi except our budget and other reminders events etc. 

And for our 13th years together my husband gifted me a bag. On our first day in Berlin I was looking for a sling bag kasi alam ko yun lang ang budget ko for this trip, I don't have a small purse kasi that will fit a small wallet, cellphone, powder and lipstick whenever we attend a simple gathering, palagi ako nakikilagay sa bulsa ng husband ko saka pala yung Longchamp na Le Pliage kasi afford ko yun at kailangan ko din kasi mahilig talaga ako magdala ng madaming gamit, but I didn't find the sling bag pero nakabili ako nung Le Pliage na super like ko kasi pink sya. On our second day binaybay namin yung other end ng Kurfurstendamm tapos we saw na mga high end brands nag enjoy ako magpapicture. 

and my long time wish, at first ayaw ko pero sa huli nagpapilit na din ako kay Mark hahaha!!!

Thank you so much Hon!!! 13 years is not a joke, there were times when we wanted to give up on each other and a lot of times when we fought and won many battles of life together. Cheers to us. I pray that God will continue to bless us with more years and happiness together.

Happy Wifey Moment #3

The happy wifey moment segment continues,,, hehehe,,, ang oa ko na kaya last na to hahaha,,, 

My entire day spent on  our bed, I am too lazy today siguro tumatanda na hehehe,, dami na nararamdaman. I told my husband na hindi masarap ang ulam, just boiled his chicken breast (his diet meal) and bahala na lang ako kung ano kainin ko (ayaw ko kasi nun). Eto naman ang gusto ko sa asawa ko happy wifey moment talaga he asked me to meet him sa sentrum although medyo late na sya nakaalis ng office, summer na kasi and I need a new shoes, naawa na ako sa pedro shoes ko ang tagal na ako na yung naggigive up sa kanya kaya if gusto nyo ng magandang quality na shoes I recommend Pedro talaga. I was eyeing for this shoes for quite sometime na and this is the perfect timing to buy it. 

I love the advocacy of TOMS, that when I opened this box of happiness, somewhere out there another child will also get the same happiness. :) It is really a great feeling knowing that i'll be able to help even in a simplest way that I can. 

It is very comfy and very light sa paa, medyo bumibigat na kasi ulit ako kaya I need something na light sa paa, at mahaba haba din kasi ang lakad dito. I saw some classic designs kaso wala akong makita na gusto kong kulay, kaya I chose this, I love the design girly girly pa din :)

After that, we went to Egon for our dinner, we where there once and we liked the food kaya we decided to have our dinner there.

Happy Wifey Moment #2

Have you heard of 5 Love Languages? Ako alam na alam ko na Act of Service at receiving gifts yung sa akin, kasi gysto ko tala yung may effort ligaw pa lang pamantayan ko na yun, at i love receiving gifts or letters din kahit simple very appreciative ako. Kaya buti na lang masipag ang asawa ko, and he is well organized din without any expectation na maging ganun din ako hehehe no choice sya kasi ganun na nya ako nakilala nung college pa, ang bait din kasi talaga ng Inay, she never required me to do household chores, she lets me sleep during weekends until late morning, when my aunt will compare me to my cousins, my Inay will simply say "matututo din yan pagdating ng araw" true enough natuto din naman ako magluto, natuto din naman akong maglinis (not sure lang kung papasa sa iba hahaha) and natututo din akong itrain ang asawa ko kung ano lang ang kaya ko hehehe, nasa training lang yan, at totoo na opposite attracts hehehe,, God gave me to someone who can compensate my weaknesses,,, Thank You Lord! :) 

Thank You Lord sa masipag na asawa. 

Happiness Lately

Hi beauties!!! 

This is a quick post lang ha :)

I am in the process of learning to ride a bike on my own, such a revelation... My parents won't allow me to ride a bike when I was a kid, at tunatakas kang ako pag umaangkas ako sa mga pinsan ko, but i told u my life here is different, i am always wearing rubber shoes n dati e sandals lang o slippers, palaging naka jacket etc pati hobby since i can feel the spring na everyone here is riding a bike during summer kaya I have to learn also. 

 My husband took a video kaso I can't upload here using my phone. 

Yesterday my husband brought me

 flowers and chocolates, i discovered this chocs nung weekend when we had a small gathering e iniisnob snob ko lang sa grocery ang sarap sarap pala, feeling ko chocs lang ang intention ni husband n bilhin kaso siguro nilubos lubos na sinamahan na ng flowers :)))

At sulit naman ang dala nya because i prepared this hearty and tasty meal last night.

Fine Dining

Happy 12th year Anniversary Hon!!! Thank you for loving me for 13 years,,, 1 year of courting and 12 years bf-gf. Love you hon, mwah mwah!!!

When Mark had me he has nothing to offer but his sincerity and love, It is amazing how he makes effort everyday to please me and makes me happy. He would go to Dangwa at 5am to buy a dozen of roses, a huge teddy bear from Bear Cuddler on my birthday  which cost him his 1 month allowance and countless of efforts showing his love for me until this very moment.

To the man who is brave enough to pursue me and stood beside me,,, Thank you for allowing me to experience to love and be LOVED. God bless us!

Cheesy Movie Nights

One of the things I love here in Norway is the time, especially this summer kasi ang haba ng oras na may araw, plus yung working hours, nobody will complain about lacking of quality time with their loved ones here, kasi naman they can go home from work ng 4pm or earlier because they can offset the excess hours that they worked for other days. My husband's latest time to be at home is 6:30pm kapag overtime na sya nyan ha, and by that time our dinner is ready para pagdating nya dinner na kami. After dinner which is done usually at 7:30pm, sometimes we will go out to go to supermarket kasi nabibigatan ako minsan or we just stayed at home to watch teleserye and movies.

I am lucky that my husband can watch romantic cheesy movies hehehe,, to the couples who want to have a full night of holding hands, cuddling and kissing you should watch romantic movies hehehe,, masaya sya hehehe,, we watched old movies and yung mga movies na narelease during courting days or yung mga first months ng relationships para reminiscing na din hehehe,, and sometimes there are moments pa na nakakarelate sa scenes hehehe,,

Who wouldn't love Pretty Woman,,, ang ganda ni Julia at ang gwapo ni Richard Gere, I dont know how many times I've watched this movie pero same kilig and amuse na amuse ako kay Julia sa movie na ito hehhee,,

Pati one of our favorites na tagalog movies pinanood namin. I don't like Kristine Hermosa before pero dito sa movie na ito ko sya nagustuhan. Ewan ko but I am always crying everytime I watch her movie with Jericho. This movie was shown in 2003, so if iaanalyze ko parang we were in the same level of relationship nung nasa movie, na parang matatag na pero madaming bagyo na dumadating na pwedeng mabuwag din pag naging mahina kaya medyo nakakarelate kami and at the same time maganda talaga yung story. Saka dito namin naging favorite yung kantang Afraid the Love to Fade, saka magaganda din yung Tayo'y Magsayawan at Bongga Ka Day, watch it watch it,,, it is a good movie. =)

Pati John Lloyd at Bea na movies pinanood namin hehehe,, Itong Close To You like ko lang yung mga scene with John Lloyd nakakatwa sila, they were best friend sa movie tapos si John Lloyd in love kay Bea hehehe,, we were somehow nakakarelate kasi we started as friends ni Mark pero may gusto pala sya sa akin hihihi,,

At ang Popoy at Basya hehehe,,, sa isang relationships may mga ups and downs talaga e, saka meron yung familiarity sa isa't isa na minsan natatake for granted yung love kasi nagiging routine na, I'm just happy that we passed that stage and that we chose to stay with each other.

Last night we watched yung Sharon And Gabby naman na nagka amnesia si Gabby, tapos yung kay Dawn at Richard naman na si Richard naman nagka amnesia hehehe,, tawang tawa si Mark kasi amnesia daw pala ang trend ng story dati kaya sabi nya mamaya daw ay My Amnesia Girl naman daw panoodin namin hehehe,,

Seriously I am thinking to watch later yung Pangako Ikaw Lang ni Regine At Aga,, I love that movie din kasi, gustong gusto ko yung chapel dun na kung Catholic lang ako gusto ko dun ikasal, It was released in 2001 pala that was the year nung naging kami ni Mark kaya memorable yung movie sa akin, I remembered we watched it together sa moviehouse hehehe =) Ang gaganda din ng songs na ginamit sa movie =)

Kaya I ready na ang snacks and watch romantic movies hehehe,, our version of tipid date night na full of love, kilig, and laughters sometimes nakikiiyak din sa bida hehehe =)

Happy weekend friendships!!! 

Ang ganda ng weather today 20 deg C e kaya sarap sa labas. We had our coffee in Le Francais again, nakakatuwa lang kasi dahil sa maaraw lahat ng customers gusto sa labas umupo at magbilad sa araw ako lang ang ayaw pero no choice ako kasi nailabas na ang tables and chairs pumili na lang ako ng di pa nasisikatan ng araw hahaha,,, 

Nakakatuwa lang kasi halos lahat ng nakikita namin e couples na senior na, sana ganun pa din kami hanggang sa tumanda kami. 

See gusto talaga nila ng araw : )

After our breakfast we just walked around and talked about our dreams : )

This alley has the most colorful houses/commercial, yung house na kulay orange e coffee shop din with books, i haven't been there pero mukhang masaya dun : )

At etong asawa ko nangarap ulit, libre naman ang mangarap kaya go go go lang : )

Eto ang nadagdag sa dreams nya : )

Ang dami kasing yate dito kaya etong asawa ko di mapigilang di mangarap, gusto daw nyang magkaganito kami, tapos date date daw kami dito hehehe

Binibiro ko sabi ko mga ilang taon kaya kami magkaganyan hehehe,,, isa sa hinahangaan ko sa asawa ko ay ang fighting spirit nya mataas at tiwala kay God, laging positive attitude sya mga goals at dreams sa buhay : )

After mag ikot ikot, dumaan kami sa bilihan ko ng gulay mas mura dito kesa sa supermarket
