Week's Best #3 : My Corner

Hope you had an enjoyable weekend Pretties!

I really want to have a vanity desk and a blogging desk but for now it is not practical to buy for a desk kahit gustong gusto ko, I imagined my dream vanity desk as a white victorian design with plenty of make ups and lipsticks in a nice organizer and an oval shape large mirror, but since we are still renting and keep on moving form one place to another I don't want to go through with the same emotions on leaving my things I am familiar with and loved, kaya I settle with this, saka isa pa we just have a small bedroom, and hopefully sana I can have my own walk in closet which any woman's dream.

Here's my corner:

I love my tree earrings organizer, I am obsessed with earrings, I never realized I have a lot (enough) until I put them there together. I am still looking for my white plastic organizer na may mga earrings pa baka nasa mga maleta pa namin wahhh.

We just had a morning walk yesterday and my kulit husband wanted to eat, watch movie or simply have a coffee, and I declined to all of his magastos na suggestions, I told him I'm happy just having a walk and conversation with him without any cost, today we just stayed at home and watch movies,,, hurray for our "none spending weekend"

And these were the things/moments that made my week happy and complete.

My husband saw on his FB timeline a carbonara recipe with just cheese  and egg and without cream. He cooked it yesterday when we came home from walking, sabi ko kay husband o kitam kung kumain tayo sa labas malamang 600 nok bill natin e ito masarap din naman tapos dami servings pa. (lagot diet ko)

Friday and Saturday OOTD

Hello pretties,

It's been a while since I share an outfit of the day post, kaya pagbigyan nyo na hehehe. My husband and I went on our usual Friday date. It was raining non-stop since Monday and finally when we saw Mr. Sun we took our chance to have a walk and look around in the mall.

Here's my Friday's outfit:

Animal print longsleeve top: Bershka ~ animal prints on dress or shoes always catch my attention.
Jeans: New Yorker
Shoes: Toms

For Saturday, we decided to go to Oslo. I want to buy a polo shirt or jacket for my husband, and he ended up buying a jacket. Summer is ending kaya wala ako gaano makita poloshirts, puro cardigans or long sleeves e hindi mahilig si Mark magsuot nun.

It was my first time to wear this dress which I purchased last year pa, and my first day out with my bag. I love this bag so much, my first sling bag which made it easier for me to roam around. Even though it is a sunny Saturday I had to bring my pink coat because for sure it will get colder at night.

I was waiting for hubby as he was checking what size he will get for a jacket.

Food tripping on Saturday

Yesterday we checked the weather forecast for today and tomorrow and the weather says we should just relax at home. My husband's idea was to make a bbq, pancit for our lunch and we still have salted eggs and mango to add, what a perfect combinations!

Since I am in charge during weekdays for our food, it is his duty to feed me during weekends. Thank you Hon for preparing and cooking everything. off duty muna si giday hihihi. =)

Sorry for the mess at my back, the boxes just arrived last Tuesday, I already unloaded 4 of our luggages full of clothes, but for the boxes I will let my hubby to handle it, mga curtains, shoes at mga abubot kasi which I don't know na where to put. Kulang kami ng storage for our things, and wala pa kami plano to buy, pinagkasya ko lang sa maliit  na closet ang mga damit ko which is ok for now. I heard/watched can't remember about rules sa pag organize and pag declutter, i sort daw yung things/clothes kung happy ka pa o hindi happy, tapos ilet go ung unhappy things. Pano yun, may mga damit ako sobrang luma na, minsan hindi na maganda pero yung sentimental value yung naghohold back sa akin to let go, kaya ang dami ko damit di ko maidispose yung iba di ko na nasusuot.

The other day, my husband went home with my new phone, gift daw nya sa anniversary namin. I've been telling him na I don't need a new phone at kuntento na ako sa iphone 4 ko, kaya sobrang love ko ang apple kasi sobrang tibay hehehe, sabi ko pa since medyo malabo na ang mata ko sign of aging hehehe, irereserve ko na lang just in case masira yung ipad ko na sobrang araw araw ko gamit. Pero natuwa din ako sa phone, nagustuhan ko sya kasi mas malaki compared sa old phone ko, parang mini ipad na din for me tamang size sa mata ko. 

Proud ako kasi ito lang yung gadget na ako yung nag open, lagay ng sim, at nag install ng mga applications, hehehe, usually kasi trabaho yun ni Mark.

Anniversary Gift =)

Happy Friday Friendships!!!

I am just happy and I want to document this here in my blog. Whenever I feel down it really helps to go back from my previous post and happy moments, pati date pag may nakalimutan ako binabalikan ko lang itong blog ko, even my recipe pag medyo matagal ko nang hindi naluluto dito pa din ako nagrerefer, I don't take notes kasi except our budget and other reminders events etc. 

And for our 13th years together my husband gifted me a bag. On our first day in Berlin I was looking for a sling bag kasi alam ko yun lang ang budget ko for this trip, I don't have a small purse kasi that will fit a small wallet, cellphone, powder and lipstick whenever we attend a simple gathering, palagi ako nakikilagay sa bulsa ng husband ko saka pala yung Longchamp na Le Pliage kasi afford ko yun at kailangan ko din kasi mahilig talaga ako magdala ng madaming gamit, but I didn't find the sling bag pero nakabili ako nung Le Pliage na super like ko kasi pink sya. On our second day binaybay namin yung other end ng Kurfurstendamm tapos we saw na mga high end brands nag enjoy ako magpapicture. 

and my long time wish, at first ayaw ko pero sa huli nagpapilit na din ako kay Mark hahaha!!!

Thank you so much Hon!!! 13 years is not a joke, there were times when we wanted to give up on each other and a lot of times when we fought and won many battles of life together. Cheers to us. I pray that God will continue to bless us with more years and happiness together.

Hello Friendships!!!

Sorry I've been absent for more than a month, a lot of things/blessings were poured upon us. We just celebrated our 13th years of being together since from the beginning of our relationship ang tagal na hehehe and we just came back from a very short vacay in Berlin. We will be busy na din kasi on the coming months kaya we squeezed in din itong trip na ito and tiniming din namin na anniversary.

Heniways, dahil sobra init dito ngayon aba pwede magshorts kaya naman I took the chance na iparada ang legs ko hahaha,,, (hindi perfect ang legs ko ha, pagbigyan nyo na kasi minsan lang sa isang taon ang pagkakataon)

sorry friendships namiss nyo naman ako eh hehehe kaya pagbigyan nyo na me. =)))

Simple Happiness

Hi Ladies!!!

How are you? Eto, I just saw this yesterday, just a reminder to all of us to be extra sensitive to other people around us =)

I am always careful with my words whenever I talk to someone, sabi nga nila ang tahimik ko at tipid magsalita, sometimes I don't really want to react kasi I am afraid to say something wrong unintentionally, pero minsan others are being insensitive. For instance, I've been jobless for a year now, it may not be a choice but really there's no opportunity coming my way, ano magagawa ko andito ang asawa ko at itinuro ng Inay kung saan ang asawa mo doon ka. There's ongoing recession here which started last quarter of last year reason why it is hard to find a job. I can finish 2 movies in a day, learning some recipes, blog hopping, sometimes we go out but since we are in a budget we don't go out as often as before plus the weather pa pag malamig nakakatamad talaga lumabas, minsan nakakainip talaga as in, but sometimes I will hear directly pa to others na Oh zig na istuck ka na dito sa norway, o kaya in a group conversation someone will say na I can't imagine myself jobless orwhen I was jobless and  just at home nakakabaliw!, truth is I get hurt and awkward yung feeling, minsan I don't know how to react sinasabi ko na lang parang ako, but some naman I get was like a concern na asking kung hindi ako naiinip that one super appreciated ko, so far I am same as before medyo baliw pa din hihihi!

My husband appreciates everything naman, that I sacrificed my career and be just here beside him, so happy naman ako sa decision namin, and our main reason naman talaga is to be together bonus na if I get a job, that is what he always telling me, and he is also doing his best to make me feel secure and well entertained hehehe pag naiinip na ako hehehe.

Actually segwey lang itetch dapat e, napahaba na ang daldal ko talaga hihihi. 

Eto talaga game na... 

I got my pasalubongs yesterday from a friend (many thanks to you!) who just came back from Philippines, ay pag Philippine products talaga ginto sa paningin ko, like ang daming cheese dito pero iba pa din ang Eden Cheese di ba, a lot of yummy cakes here but nothing beats ube macapuno cake ng Red Ribbon, dahil happy eaters tayong mga pinoy there were a lot of restaurants I want to try, hay,, and mga spa, derma, parlors, na gustong gusto ko maexperience, usong uso sa atin mga staycation sa hotels,, beach hay ang sarap mangarap.

 But for now I will enjoy muna these yummy treats. Simple Happiness!!!

Super yummy nito na bawat kagat ko I can't help myself to utter the words "ANG SARAP!!!" konti konti nga kagat ko ninamnam ko talaga, hehehe,,, ikain nyo na lang ako ulit hehehe,, 4 pcs yung laman nyan e, 1 lang nakain ni mark pinalamang na sa akin yung 3 hahaha,, (kawawa hihihi)

Yesterday my husband brought me some flowers..Simple Happiness!,, ngayon advantage ng housewife, I appreciate more the things he is doing for me, mas nakikita ko yung efforts nya to make me happy (LEGAL WIFE) wahehehe siningit lang,, nanunuod ba kau nyan Legal Wife trending palagi sa facebook yan hihihi,, pinapanood ko din yung Ikaw Lamang ang gaganda ng background music tagos sa puso hehehe.

happy weekend!!! How are you doing?

I've been neglecting this blog for a while, good news is tapos ko na panoodin ang Season 8 ng 24,, I am so excited because they will open a new Season and will start on Monday,, kaso wala pa kaming TV wahehehe,, nung Tuesday my husband asked me to go out to look for a good TV, kaso ang mahal over budget para sa amin, ako kasi I don't like to buy unless talagang may naipon ako for that, natetempt na ako gamitin yung sa 52 day challenge ko kaso meron talaga akong pinaglalaanan nun, isang advantage ng single income ***takot gumastos*** tapos may ugali din ako na ayaw ko nung "ok cge, ok na yan" gusto ko yung gusto ko talaga tutal isang beses lang bibili nun pangmatagalan na, pwede kaming bumili ng TV kaso hindi yung gusto ko talaga kaya magintay na lang ako until maipon ko yung pangdagdag. Totally different talaga yung buhay ko dito kesa nung sa Singapore, doon 55" ang tv namin, ngayon talagang wala, e gusto ko sana same size din sana (maarte lang ako), since we are a little broken hearted kasi wala kaming naiuwing TV, we ended in a cinema, we watched Spiderman 2 (naiyak ako nung namatay si Gwen Stacy ang ganda pa naman nya, dapat mas maganda yung gaganap na Mary Jane), sabi ko kay Mark "gusto natin malaki TV  o ayan ang laki" hehehe.

Finally, I have this book na, been looking for this kahit nung nasa Singapore pa ako kaso palaging out of stock, medyo tamad kasi akong bumisita sa bookstore dito kasi konti lang english na nakikita ko, buti na maaga kami sa airport going back here from Oslo kaya nakabili ako. I will start to read this next week, full packed kasi ang weekend namin =)

Ang dami ko pang kailangan sa bahay (bukod sa TV hahaha) mga small items lang naman, kaya di pa ako makapag decorate ng house, grateful for good friends around us, got a gift from a friend here para daw sa house kasi kakalipat lang namin.

 Beautiful orchids. Yahoo may kasama na akong living things dito sa loob ng bahay pag wala si hubby hihihi!!! Di ba di ba ang ganda ganda ng mga bulaklak =) nakakaganda ng araw =)

And for my finale... eto ang sarap sarap nito pramis yan walang echos... kahapon kasi may training sina hubby kaya after magbike diretso sila dito sa bahay and I prepared seafood pasta yan dapat kaso wala akong gaanong makitang pusit dito kaya tuna and shrimp pasta na lang hihihi,,,

My love affair with Ritter Sport chocs especially their Praline flavor started way before pa when I was in SG, but suddenly we can't find that flavor anywhere in SG, ang conclusion pa nga ni hubby baka diniscontinue kasi lugi sila ang sarap sarap,,, much from my surprise, during our trip to Hirtshals, my friend opened a bar of Praline Ritter Sport!!!!! wahhh she said she bought it in duty free =) after I learned that I promise that I will never leave that ship without buying,,,, chos!!! hehehe. (thanks Irene!)

I am very loyal with my perfume Versace Bright Crystal, minsan kahit may bago bumabalik balik pa din ako sa kanya, but since I had the opportunity to buy a cheaper perfume in duty free, I looked for something fresh na pwede kong everyday perfume para different scent. I heard a lot of raves for DKNY  Be Delicious but never had a chance to try it, then suddenly it caught my attention again, spray it on my pulse and I can't put it down ang bango bango talaga, but this one is their Limited Edition Empire Apple,, I like that it is very handy din and I can just slip it in my bag, promise ang bango bango nito =)))

Can you see that gold chain necklace, I love love to wear it, lakas makadagdag ng self confidence hehehe kahit pa I am joking that it came to Saudi pa hehehe,, di ba dati pag galing saudi ang lalaki ng gold chain, actually matagal ng uso ito e but ngayon lang ako nag gave in hehehe,, I know super delayed reaction ako hehehe,, minsan kasi ako ayaw ko ng nakikiuso kaya maganda ding palampasin ng konti hehehe,, and got it in a very low price, super sale hihihi!!!

And last, my graffiti water bottle, it has a message na Love Me, since summer is almost here, there are many outdoors and indoors activities and sa summer aside from sunblocks, being hydrated is most important kaya I"ll make sure to carry this water bottle whenever I need it, and dont you love the design,,, very stylish for me, I also bought one for my husband.

Travel: Hirtshals Weekend Getaway =)

Hello beauties!!!

Musta na kau? Im perfectly fine, pati weather dito fine na fine hahahah joke,, mainit na ngayon, ganda ng weather.

We had a mini get away last weekend, we were lucky to be able to join the very nice, warm and funny group in this trip, we really had a very wonderful cruising-bonding together,,, and it was a steal because we booked it in a very very low price.

Sa loob pa lang quota na kami sa pictures sulit na ang bayad namin :)

ang saya parang field trip talaga, too bad I forgot to take pictures of our room. This was my first time to ride a cruise ship, although small lang ito compared sa aking inaasam asam na Superstar Virgo e I am super happy pa rin that I've experienced this.

We left Stavanger Saturday night and we arrived in our destination at 7:30 am, Hirtshals is a small town in Denmark, e Sunday kaya mostly ang mga shops ay close, but still we enjoyed our bonding time together, and my first time to see a lighthouse in person, naakyat ko pa, and had a breathtaking view from top.

Foodie: Smoked Salmon Soft Taco Rolls

Hello Friendships!!!

I want to share you this very easy to do and healthy snack, I got this recipe when I attended a birthday party 2 weeks ago, and I fell in love with it.

Ingredients:

300g Smoked salmon (thinly sliced)
Philadelphia Cream Cheese
8 pcs medium super soft taco
Ruccula (i don't know sa english e basta mukha syang pako hehehe)

Procedure:

Spread the Philadelphia Cream Cheese in your soft taco

then lay the smoked salmon, add the ruccula and wrap it tightly, cut into small pieces.

The finished product =)

You can also use canned tuna instead of salmon, lettuce and mayonaise as an alternative.
It is very presentable to serve din, if you have small party at home ang ok nya iserve, and this recipe is very timely for the Lenten season.
Since we are cutting back rice and meat on our menu, this is our tonight's dinner. =)
