Week's Best #7: Forevermore

Hello Pretties,

Sorry I skipped my week's best last week. My days were occupied of watching shows on TFC, yep finally we subscribed na hihihi. Did I tell you that sometimes I don't get influenced with what's new and uso, kaya I am one of the few who doesn't watch Aldub hehehe, (sorry to the fans). Back on topic, nung time na usong uso ang Forevermore ng LizQuen di ko talaga pinanood hehehe, then when my friend was here she opened their tfc, and there I can watch the past teleseryes, kaya naenganyo ako magsubscribe. Kaya our nights were filled with forevermore na hihihi.

A tour to bookstore will always be fun especially when I go out with something to read. This book is the first book of the author's 4 Neapolitan Novels. I am still in a halfway of the book and hopefully I can finish it this week. I am planning to get the 2nd book next week.

One of my most priceless wealth are true friends who always take time to show their love and care to us. I am truly happy thinking that we are always in their thoughts and hearts eventhough we are miles apart. These are very early christmas gifts we received. Thank you Jaz and Vice.

love all the way from Singapore!

hubby got a basketball jersey too, not in the picture kasi sinusukat nya agad. Our christmas will be filled with a great aroma of my favorite coffee from Singapore. Missing the old days.

how about you pretties, how's your weekend?

smile and stay beautiful! 😘

Week's Best #6: Birthdays and Baptism

Hello Pretties!

How's your week so far?

We had a lot of reasons to celebrate last week. Irene's family stayed with us for a couple of days and it happened that it was my inaanak's 3rd month and our kumpare's birthday also, Irene asked Mark to take a picture with the cake as he will also celebrate his birthday in a week.

Night before Mark's birthday we went out for dinner. We super enjoyed our bolahan moments and the food.

We really love Friday's, wala nga lang ung usual na inoorder namin sa Singapore, ung parang pata sya na may Jack Daniel sauce.

Favorite namin ito chicken wings nila

The birthday boy ordered this Jack Daniels Beef Ribs and he enjoyed every bite of it,

ako naman syempre pasta, first time ko orderin ito, too bad super late ko na nadiscover 😊

Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta: my verdict,,, highly recommended!!! super yummy 😊 Nagkcrave ulit ako, can't wait to taste it again.

We ended our birthday meal with New york Cheesecake 😊

The next day, Hubby's birthday, we travelled to Stavanger for Lars Kian's Baptism. May and family prepared for a birthday salo salo for Mark. Thank you thank you Valencia Family! 😍

Sunday was the baptism of Lars, we enjoyed the day, great church service, food and company.

with our cutie baby inaanak

Long table with our little prince Lars Kian 😘

Birthdays and baptisms are new beginnings of life that we need to celebrate with significant people in our lives.

Week's Best #4 : Reunion

Hello Pretties!

How's your week so far?

We just came home from Stavanger yesterday morning. We travelled almost 8 hours by train on Sunday evening hence the delayed of this post.

From Monday to Thursday I was busy looking for a gift and a dress to be worn for Matthew's Baptism (our newest godson). I don't want to spend too much on dress luckily I saw this from h&m

This dress has a price tag of 150 nok, it's a win win find for me. :)

We went to Stavanger last Friday night, since it was very cold outside we stayed in our fave resto to wait for our travel time.

I ordered my favorite tom yum soup and hubby ordered stir fry noodles.
I slept the whole time of our journey, although may wifi naman antok na antok ako. We arrived at our friend's house Saturday morning, took a bath and then we went off to the church.

We met there with our other friends, it was a nice baptism celebration of our cute and adorable Matthew.

Reunited with these girls :)
The prada and LV girls :)

Our Sunday's were spent with our dear Valencia family. May served a delicious and hearty breakfast. We were able to play with the kids and more kwentuhan moments with May and Joel.

the husband with our happy baby inaanak Lars :)

May also cooked carbonara ( my favorite) and paired it with pizza, super busog kami kaya I wasn't able to eat dinner na nag dessert na lang ako kina Irene.

Me and May :)

At 9:45 we were dropped off to the train station by our friends.

Inside the train, blanket, pillow, eye cover and ear piece were provided.

And from this reunion, aside from hugs and kisses I got also some post birthday presents :)

Thank you so much for your love, Friends!

thank you pretties for reading.

Smile and everyone will smile back :)

Stay positive :)

Feature and Follow: Happy Birthday D

Happy happy birthday Diane!!! This entry post is for you, happy birthday Sis!!! mwahugs!!!

Feature and Follow

Question: What is the last book that made you cry? Tell us about the scene

Answer: The last book that made me cry was The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks

Here's the synopsis:

After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis, son-in-law of Allie and Noah Calhoun (of The Notebook), is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage. Desperate to win back his wife, Jane's, heart, he must figure out how to make her fall in love with him... again. Despite the shining example of Allie and Noah's marriage, Wilson is himself a man unable to easily express his emotions. A successful estate attorney, he has provided well for his family, but now, with his daughter's upcoming wedding, he is forced to face the fact that he and Jane have grown apart and he wonders if she even loves him anymore. Wilson is sure of one thing--his love for his wife has only deepened and intensified over the years. Now, with the memories of his in-laws' magnificent fifty-year love affair as his guide, Wilson struggles to find his way back into the heart of the woman he adores.

The most romantic scene is when Jane learned that all along she was preparing her own wedding which she thought was for her daughter, I love Wilson for doing that, rekindling the love after 30 years of marriage.
I really really love this book, my all time favorite after I've read it in 2009. #TheWedding

Diaper Cake and Outfit of the Day

Friends, Romans and Countrymen, lend me your ears,, este your eyes pala hehehe,, I remember memorizing this piece for an audition when I was in Freshman, lahat na lang ata ng activities dati sinalihan ko, (ang hindi lang pala ay singing contest at beauty pageant na frustrations ko hanggang ngayon hahaha!!!) ang daldal ko na naman,, oh well eto na back to topic.

Today is Jaz' Baby Shower, the original plan was not to tell the couple about this baby shower, but I decided yesterday to tell Vice about the plan so that he can help me to bring Jaz to the place where we will be holding the event, but I didn't reveal everything to him para may element pa din ng surprise. We were living together in the same house and the first thing to consider is the venue, I booked Carlton Hotel's weekend getaway promo thru Agoda, this  hotel is quite near Raffles City Shopping Center  and just opposite of Chijmes, I invited her officemates and friends and I also asked for video messages from their families in the Philippines. It was a success, Jaz has no idea kahit na nagluluto ako kanina at madami akong dala ang reason ko was I have to attend my godson's birthday party, tapos si Vice naman reason nya kay Jaz ay may dadalawin na pinsan na nakacheck in sa hotel.

Last night I did this diaper cake, wala akong talent sa arts and crafts kaya super challenge sa akin to,

materials I used:

I placed the big masking tapes in the center of the round carton to served as a pattern, then I rolled the diaper one by one and put the rubber to hold the roll, I arranged them according to the pattern and tied a blue ribbon around them, them same thing I did for the second layer, I used the baby mickey mouse shoes as the cake topper and I added some toys for decorations.

here is my finish product =)

And here is the happy Mom of Baby Yohan =)

and of course before I end this post, here is my pictures, pictorial sa salamin ulit

I love the blending of these two colors, it reminds me of our Philippine flag, and winner ang necklace ko with star pendant, really matched with my outfit.

outfit of the day:

blouse: H&M:
pants: m)phosis
sandals: Charles and Keith
necklace: H&M

Foodie: My First Time at Sakae Sushi

Last night, before we went home from work, my officemate Everly invited me for a dinner, she knew that I love eating and she remembered what I mentioned to her that I've never been to Sakae Sushi before. How sweet noh, I truly appreciate her kindness and her way of showing that she cared for me, alam kasi nya na I feel alone especially after work dun ko nararamdaman ng wagas na mag isa ako hehehe,, na nobody is waiting for me, the moment I stepped out of our office bldg iniisip ko na saan or ano kakainin ko. Basta I appreciate someone like her na inaalala yung situation ko,, I am truly blessed =)

Heniways, let the photos speak for themselves.

Tara let's order na, ang sosyal lang, naka IPAD pa =)

And there's a faucet where we can get hot water,,, ang sosyal talaga =D

The price of each plate depends on its color, I remember the green plate is the cheapest.

I so love these, super yummy, I thought I can not take it because I dont like raw food, but it was so  delicious, I will keep coming back to Sakae Sushi just to have these. =)

The famous wasabi,,,

We ordered 2 sets of this bento, antsalap tsalap!!! yumminess!!!

The very much satisfied customer, =)

Thank you Everly for your treat,,, buchog na buchog =)

My Birthday Kwento

It was really a very happy birthday for me, I felt blessed and loved because of the importance that my family and friends showed me on my birthday.

It was 5 pm day before my birthday when I really felt that it was my birthday already, I was finishing my work when I told my officemate that I feel like it was a day before Christmas,

Me: Everly, feeling ko bisperas ng Pasko, o kaya yung bisperas ng fiesta hehehe

Everly: =) (laughing at me)

After seeing my birthday video from Mark, I can't help myself to stop playing it, (gandang ganda ako sa sarili ko hihihi) actually no,  I'm just really happy reminiscing the memories behind those pictures, ang ending I slept at 4:15 am and was not able to hear my alarm clock = leave at work (hihihi).

I had to meet my friends to see Step Up Revolution, but it was raining hard, while waiting for the rain to stop, I played with my phone camera for my birthday photo shoot hhehehe.

here's my outfit on my birthday:

My friends Abie and Rommel bought our tickets wednesday pa lang kaya maganda yung seats namin, we were seated sa Row A =) We dined at Nando's, it was my first time there, when Mark was still here we wanted to try to eat there but I was reluctant because I am afraid that my palate will not approve the taste, I was wrong, yung chicken is like our chicken inasal, so flavorful.

I went home after the movie, and this was the highlight, when I opened the door my housemates were there in the sala watching TV, we said hello and asked how's my birthday so far, then I went straight to my door, I was turning the key on my doorknob when I felt na parang ang sikip nung place, when I turned around I found a bouquet of flowers and two boxes of cake, too bad I didnt took a photo, basta there was a chair there tapos nakapatong yung bouquet sa mga boxes ng cake, I was stunned for a few seconds, hindi agad nag sink in sa akin yun, I looked and asked my housemates how it happened, and they were all smiling saying it was from Norway, I was really surprised and touched, I didn't expect that hubby will give something on my birthday, given na he's far ok na sa akin yung video e na i thought it was the possible sweet thing he can do, but making an extra effort e super pogi points sya sa akin, kung nanliligaw pa lang e sure na ang sagot ko hihihi,, I really wanted to hug and kiss my hubby that very moment.

                                                                    ang sweet!!!!

I was overwhelmed also by the gifts and well wishes I received on my special day, I super super enjoyed my day, talagang super saya ko,, Ang sarap mag birthday!!!!

Another blessing on my birthday was being with my close friend Fatima, I was worried because when I  called the airport to asked if she will be allowed to go outside during the time of her stopover here, the staff said that she needs to get a visa, I was wondering why she needs a visa e wala naman visa dito for Filipino, it was too late na din for her to secure a visa (just to make sure) so I told her na bahala na, that I will still be there at the airport at the time of her arrival, and with God's grace she was able to spent a very happy bonding moments.

Thank you LORD for another year to love, to share, to laugh, to hope, to explore and to enjoy life. To my parents, especially my Inay, next to God I attribute all my success and achievements and I will be forever grateful for taking care of me in 9 months on her womb and until now that I am married, for all her sacrifices just to make sure that we will have a better life, I always imagine my mother that when she was on my age she was struggling to survive for our life. Thank you Inay for giving your all to us, you are the best!!!
And sa lalaking nagpakasal sa akin, I will be forever grateful for offering yourself to be my constant date, my lifetime partner, may nagk care sa akin, may nag tetext, may nagdadate, may tumatawag, may nag a ILOVEYOU sa akin, life is extra sweet because of you, I may be forgotten by everyone (except my family) but I am secured that I am always remembered every single minute of the day. Thank you for your LOVE.

My birthday 4 years ago

Before my birthday kwento, I'd like to share my blog post 4 years ago sa multiply account, ahhh before I forget, I need to make a back up of my posts and photos from there because they were closing their service, so if you have an account better save those beautiful memories before you lose them.

See that cute doggy, he's with me na pala 4 years ago, nakakatuwa isipin I just posted a picture of him dun sa recent post ko sa bed. Indeed, time flies too fast, a lot of things happened in 4 years. I am happy that these two friends are still there not only for my birthday but in my everyday life here in Singapore.
