Amarante Champs Elysees Hotel

Hotel will really make or break your trip, we didn't make an itinerary for our trip. My husband is always the in charge in finding for our accomodation, alam naman na nya ang gusto ko. Syempre number 1 to consider is the budget from there we will choose the best option available. And super happy ako and will credit this to my husband for choosing Amarante Champs Elysees Hotel. It is very close to Arc d' Triomphe and to Champs Elysees Avenue, as in isang kanto lang. We were able to walked from our hotel to the christmas village and to the Eiffel Tower.

Let me tour you to our room.

The hotel is an old hotel you can see it from the carpet but I love it. The size of our room is ideal na for me kasi maliliit lang talaga ang room sa Paris unless 5 star hotel. Very clean and comfortable ng bed. I like the size of our bed too.

I will consider this hotel again on our next trip to Paris, yes hindi ako magsasawa to admire the beauty of this City. =)

Carlton Hotel

I allotted a budget for my friend's Baby Shower, I searched for a hotel that will fit my budget, as much as I wanted to book Marina Bay Sands but my budget wont allow it, then I heard that you can book a discounted rate sa MBS if you know someone working there that will help to arrange the booking for you, so wala naman akong friend na staff from MBS kaya wala na sya sa options. 200 sgd lang kasi ang budget ko sa hotel kaya pag nag 250sgd na out na sa budget ko kasi may ++ pa un.

I requested for free upgrade sa room hehehe,, but the receptionist told me na madami sila guests, but she gave me a room in the higher floor so ok na din, then I just gave a 50sgd guarantee deposit, nagulat nga ako kala ko mga 100sgd ang hihinging deposit sa akin.

True enough binigyan ako ng magandang view, swimming pool. 

And see that Raffles City, that is the nearest mall, as in tatawid lang at yun na, dun din yung way papuntang MRT. 

All in all ok naman yung room, medyo plain nga lang yung bathroom and luma na din yung mga tiles, hindi sya yung type ng hotel na pang luxury staycation, pero very convenient ang location nya, kaya di din ako nahirapan saka ung mga guests sa baby shower na puntahan yung hotel, there's a Cold Storage kasi sa Raffles City kaya lahat ng last minute na kailangan namin madali lang namin nabili, like condiments, drinks, etc. hindi din strict sa guest yung hotel, you will need a card to press the floor na pupuntahan mo, e that time alam nila yung room number kaya nag paassist lang sila, the receptionist called me na there are guests na gustong umakyat sa room ko, tapos nun nag confirm ako, inassist na din nila sa lift. 

Ah ito pa pala, ang alam ko lang ay kasama na yung breakfast sa binayadan ko, pero naghanda ako for additional charge para sa internet access, nagulat ako kasama na pala yung 24 hour internet access sa binayadan ko. 

The buffet breakfast is the typical breakfast sa hotel, ako kasi basta may egg at bacon masaya na ako, but I saw a lot of fruits din, may congee din, may sausage, may salad, may oatmeal, may mga pastry din, may siomai, chicken bao, hindi ako masyado nag ikot kasi ok na ako sa bacon at egg, hehehe,, 

I requested for late check out, binigyan ako until 1:00pm, pero 12 pm nag check out na ako, buti na lang pinay yung  receptionist bilis lang ng check out ko, may naconsume ako na bottled water kaya yun lang yung binawas sa deposit ko.
